I followed the MSP training from Lagant, with Martin Carol as trainer. Martin is completely above the material and knows how to tell a nice anecdote from practice for every principle. Although the teaching material itself can still be a bit dry, Martin knows how to liven it up!
The trainer made the dry material lively with examples. He provided an overview. I cannot judge the price. Service: we received the wrong exercise material and the app does not work on my phone.
Nice trainer who knows how to convey the dry material in a good way with examples.
I score the service a little less because something went wrong with the learning environment (we were given access to an old environment)
Training MSP has an average review score of 7.5 (out of 4 of 258 reviews) read them all on this page.

What is MSP?
MSP (Managing Successful Programs) is an internationally recognized methodology for program management. It helps organizations manage change effectively and realize benefits.
Is MSP right for my organization?
Yes, MSP is applicable in any industry where multiple projects and changes come together.
What are the benefits of MSP?
👉 More control: Manage multiple projects effectively within a program.
👉 Better results: Ensure consistent outcomes.
👉 Strategic focus: Focus on the long term and achieving benefits. How quickly can I get my MSP certification?
Depending on your study pace, you can certification achieve within a few weeks.
What levels does MSP have?
MSP has 2 levels: Foundation and Practitioner. Foundation focuses on the basic principles, while Practitioner focuses on practical application.
Can MSP be used in combination with other methods?
Yes, MSP works very well with methods such as PRINCE2, Agile en Lean Six Sigma.
What is the difference between project management and program management according to MSP?
MSP focuses on coordinating multiple projects that together pursue one strategic goal. While project management involves the execution of one project, MSP helps you to maintain an overview, set priorities and use synergies between different projects. This prevents separate initiatives from getting in each other's way or missing important opportunities.
How do I formulate clear benefits and objectives for my program?
The advantage of MSP is that you work with clear benefit maps and benefit profiles. Start by mapping the desired end results and link them to measurable indicators. Ask yourself: “What problem are we solving, and how do we see that this has actually been solved?” Keep it simple, but concrete. This way you can check whether you are still on track during the entire process.
How do I prioritize when multiple projects are running simultaneously?
First, create a clear program vision: what do you want to achieve as an organization with this collection of projects? Then use the 'Blueprint' from MSP to determine which projects are essential and which are supporting. With a clear roadmap, you can intelligently distribute the available resources, budgets and time. This prevents fragmentation and works more effectively towards the long-term goals.
How do I deal with resistance from colleagues who already work with other methods?
Resistance often stems from lack of clarity. Therefore, explain how MSP provides an overarching framework that works well with, for example, PRINCE2 or Agile. Emphasize that MSP is not a replacement, but a way to ensure that the shared goals of different projects are aligned. Plan joint workshops or information sessions to clarify the benefits of MSP and the coherence with existing methods.
