Replace your todo list with a TADAA list!

Do you usually have a whole to-do list left at the end of the day? And because of this, do you end your working day far too often with a dissatisfied feeling?

Read in: 1 minute.

You are terribly busy and therefore an overflowing to-do list with the disappointing feeling at the end of the day that you have not been able to do everything. Logical, because your brain is simply more focused on negative things.

How do you solve this?

  1. Record everything immediately. Jot down individual tasks or ideas from memory as quickly as possible. Provide a simple and accessible system. For example, put a paper list on your desk or keep a digital note app open as a tab on your PC.
  2. Keep it realistic.  This 'mother list' functions as the basis for a short to-do list for the day. What do you really want to finish today to end with a satisfied feeling? Keep this list short (maximum 5-7 tasks) and hang it in a visible place. You can then tick off in between... TADAA!
  3. Finish the day by reviewing your list. Check off or cross out everything you have completed. And make a list for the next day. This helps you to emotionally round off your day and to go into the evening with an 'empty head'.
