Core value: Involved

"Do I have any dietary requirements?" There's a moment of silence on the line. Then the student in question jokes: "All-you-can-eat spareribs!" Guus joins in. But what the student doesn't know is that Guus is actually making the note:

🍖 Monday. Archipel training. Student X -> spareribs.

We all know it in the corridors of Lagant: Guus likes to shake things up a bit. You could call that "service excellence," which is very hip. But our Hague native Guus is far too down-to-earth for that. Guus is more of a man of:

“That's funny, let's just do it”

So those spare ribs were ordered. Even on a Monday morning, when almost all the butchers are closed. Even if it means your car will smell of spare ribs for another 100 years.

With a broad grin, Guus enters the training room. He walks to the table and lays out his 10 kilos (!) of spareribs. It's just 2:30 p.m., and the students are ready for a tea break. A few students curiously observe what Guus is doing. What's happening there?

Once everything is set up, Guus asks the group who student X is. From behind a group of coffee drinkers, student X appears. Luckily he is standing, otherwise he would certainly have fallen off his chair: No, you can't be serious...

“Maybe you should ask your colleagues for help”

Guus points with a laugh at the mountain of spare ribs. The astonished student's colleagues don't need to be told twice. Soon, the whole group is enjoying spare ribs. Soggy hands, napkins, and satisfied munching fill the room.

So, uh... be warned if you blurt something out. Before you know it, Guus will come up with something. 😉

This is what being involved means to us

We listen to you, both as a professional and as a person. You are the starting point for every change. It doesn't matter whether you're taking a training course or a complete change process. Engaging with who you are lays the foundation for success that extends beyond the two of us. That kind of success lifts the world a little. And that's what we're here for!
