And are you immediately curious about how quickly you can take your exam? As soon as you start, it takes about 1 to 1,5 months before you can take your exam. And if you are a budding Einstein, that can of course be even faster. 😉

A certificate from Scrum.org remains valid indefinitely, isn't that nice? So recertification is not necessary.

Expect about 30 to 50 hours of self-study. This includes both studying the course material and preparing for the exam.

Once you have completed the training days and thoroughly studied the e-learning, you will need to spend a maximum of another 20 hours practicing with mock exams.

You take Scrum training in a way that best suits your schedule and preferences. You can opt for classroom training with extensive e-learning alongside it.

If following a training during the day is difficult for you, you can also have our trainers guide you 1-on-1. You will then plan contact moments together in which you can submit your questions. You will study the e-learning independently when it suits you.

Many professionals find that theory differs from what happens in the workplace. Start small: immediately apply one Scrum event (such as the Daily Scrum) exactly as it should be done 'by the book,' and see how it turns out. Evaluate what went well and what could be improved. This way, you build practical experience step by step, without immediately overhauling your entire way of working.

The Scrum Master facilitates the team in following Scrum values ​​and rituals, and focuses on collaboration and removing impediments. A project manager typically has more decision-making authority and manages planning, budget, and scope. In Scrum, that responsibility lies largely with the self-organizing team and the Product Owner. It is therefore a different way of working, where the Scrum Master supports rather than strictly directs.

Know why you hold each ceremony and what you want to achieve with it. A retrospective session without action points is pointless. For example, choose one area for improvement each sprint and ensure the team actually takes it up. Keep stand-ups short and focused: share what is relevant to progress and resolve larger discussions later. This way, the ceremonies do not become a chore, but a powerful tool for better collaboration and faster results.
