With the revamped IPMA D Online Self-Study , you prepare flexibly and efficiently for the IPMA D theory exam. You study wherever and whenever suits you, entirely at your own pace.

The accredited e-learning from IPMA Netherlands meets international quality standards and has been completely revamped. You gain access to an interactive business simulation, various videos, and the popular ExamTrainer with realistic practice questions that align with the official exam.

Thanks to the extensive progress tracking, you can see exactly where you are, which topics you have already mastered, and where extra attention is still needed. This way, you work step by step towards optimal preparation for the IPMA D theory exam.

  • Prior knowledge and study load

    For this training we recommend HBO work and thinking level
    For the preparation for the exam, a time investment should be counted between 60 and 80 hours.

  • Target audience

    Whether you are a project employee, project manager or (prospective) project manager, the IPMA D training is intended for anyone who wants to learn more about IPMA or project management.

    Specific experience as a project manager is not necessary. Although it is nice for you if you have basic knowledge in the field of project-based working and can handle an HBO work and thinking level.

  • Result

    After this Online Self-study you have gained insight into IPMA and a solid knowledge of the IPMA competencies. You will also be better able to fulfill your role within the project successfully.

    After this training:

    • You have knowledge of the definitions of a project, project management and program management;
    • You know the project phases and organization within projects;
    • Masters your methods and techniques for project planning and control and quality control;
    • You have knowledge of budgeting and finance within a project;
    • You master the basic principles of project management and project teams
    • Are you optimally prepared for the IPMA D theory exam.

  • Workshop Leading

    As an option, on all our online self-studies we offer the possibility to use an experienced trainer / coach who will guide you personally. This experienced trainer can discuss the theory with you and indicate how it is used in practice. You can also discuss any uncertainties about the material. Contact with a trainer is exclusively online or by telephone, 3 hours is reserved for this. The trainer will indicate after each contact how much of this time remains.

  • Examen

    The IPMA D theory exam can be optionally ordered from Lagant: we will then handle your exam application with IPMA Netherlands.

  • Our service for e-learning modules

    Our e-learning modules are intended for independent use and offer clear explanations, assignments and teaching materials. You can optionally order teacher guidance with your purchase for substantive teacher support and feedback.
