IPMA Assessment support (IPMA C)
Your personal change guide helps you to successfully make the 2e part of the IPMA C certification. Obtaining the IPMA C certificate is no easy task. For certification, an experience document, self-assessment and a management summary must be completed. You conclude the process with an assessment of 1,5 hours. Your IPMA change guide knows the process from oats to barley and will guide you intensively individually, giving you even better insight into your functioning and competencies.

Prior knowledge and study load
You must have obtained the IPMA C theory certificate.
The guidance is individual and focused on your certification. We guide you throughout the entire process from pre-assessment to certification.
Your effort for completing the documents, conversations and practicing the assessment interview is highly individual. Take into account at least 80 hours net.
On the basis of the experience document, you will discuss with your IPMA change guide the possibility of certification and what steps you can take to achieve this and what best suits your wishes. We call this the pre-assessment. If we think you have no chance of success, we advise you not to proceed. You only pay the costs for the pre-assessment. During the pre-assessment we discuss each project on your project list. Even if your coach has doubts halfway through whether certification is possible, he will indicate this.
Your IPMA change guide pays attention to things like description, hours, budgets, ratios between hours and budgets, the hours you and the team spent on it, the number of stakeholders and the like. We also look at how you score on the complexity form. We compare this result with the requirements of the ICB and the scores of other project managers.
Your IPMA change guide will personally guide you throughout the entire process up to the assessment interview. Together you draw up a plan and an action plan. You write the various documents. Your IPMA coach reads along, comments and advises. You prepare the interview for the IPMA C assessment together with your coach about a week in advance. We discuss the assessors, the results of the 360-degree feedback and the documents you need to bring with you. You practice the interview until you and your IPMA change guide are convinced that you will succeed.

Program
Our program consists of 4 parts:
- Explanation of the assessment procedure
- Pre-assessment of approximately 1,5 hours. You will receive the experience document in preparation. This consists of an overview of courses and training, work experience, referees, project list and project complexity. You can discuss the possibility of certification on the basis of the experience document.
- Guidance in completing the management summary and self-assessment, and review of the draft version.
- Preparation of the assessment interview based on the STAR method.
Target audience
Project leaders and project managers who have 3 to 8 years of experience in managing (sub)projects and in possession of a recent (not older than 12 months) IPMA C theory certificate.
Result
- Candidates are well prepared for the IPMA C Assessment of IPMA Certificering Nederland.
- Candidates have received feedback on their skills and know where to focus on.
Examen
The IPMA C assessment must be requested by the candidate from IPMA Certificering Nederland.
