Tackle problems in a structured way with Lean Six Sigma Orange Belt
Identifying problems is not enough. During the Lean Six Sigma Orange Belt, you learn to tackle them in a structured way using the right tools and approach, directly applicable in your work environment.
In four days, you combine Lean principles with a solid foundation in data. You will learn to translate customer value into a CTQ Flowdown, visualize processes with flowcharts and Value Stream Mapping, identify and eliminate waste, and visualize data using Pareto and histograms. You will also learn to recognize and reduce variation.
You train in a classroom setting using practical tools, a simulation game, and real-life cases. The training leads to the internationally recognized LSSA Lean Six Sigma Orange Belt certificate.

Prior knowledge and study load
No prior knowledge is required; a completed Yellow Belt is not mandatory. The training is suitable for anyone who wants to learn how to address problems in their own work environment in a structured way.
The training consists of 4 days, totaling 16 study hours, from 9:00 AM to 17:00 PM. In addition, you should allow for self-study in preparation for the Orange Belt theory exam. You complete this preparation at your own pace via the digital learning environment.

- The improvement organization and the role of the Orange Belt
- Getting the basics right and working with data
- Translating customer value into a CTQ flowdown
- Visualizing processes with flowcharts and Value Stream Mapping
- Identify and eliminate waste
- Visualizing data with Pareto and histograms; recognizing and reducing variation
- Securing improvements
Target audience
The Lean Six Sigma Orange Belt is suitable for anyone who wants to learn how to tackle problems in their own work environment in a structured way. The training aligns well with operators and production employees, engineers and process improvers, process owners and quality staff, supervisors, team leaders and business managers, as well as administrative and financial staff. No prior knowledge is required, and a completed Yellow Belt is not mandatory.
Result
Upon completion, you will tackle problems in your work environment in a structured manner. You will apply Lean principles and tools, understand customer value and translate it into a CTQ Flowdown, and visualize processes with flowcharts and Value Stream Mapping. You will identify and eliminate waste, visualize data with Pareto and histograms, and learn to recognize and reduce variation. You will be prepared for the internationally recognized Lean Six Sigma Orange Belt theory exam from the LSSA.
The exam
You conclude with the Lean Six Sigma Orange Belt theory exam from the Lean Six Sigma Academy (LSSA), an internationally recognized certification body. Upon successful completion of the exam, you will receive the internationally recognized LSSA Lean Six Sigma Orange Belt certificate. The exam is optional; the exam voucher can be ordered separately and is not included with this training variant.
