SAFe® for Teams 6.0 training including exam voucher
The 2-day SAFe for Teams course focuses on the team level of SAFe. In the SAFe for Teams training you learn Scrum, XP and Lean practices, aimed at the Essential level of SAFe.
In addition to general SAFe , Lean, and Agile topics, we will cover roles and responsibilities within teams, managing backlogs, executing sprints in SAFe, technical practices, and planning a Program Increment (PI, a period of 5 iterations/10 weeks).
As a person involved in an Agile Release Train (ART, team of Agile teams) you will also experience how you function in an Agile environment in which Scrum, Kanban and XP form the basis. We discuss planning and executing iterations. Thanks to the inspiring exercises in this training, your backpack is optimally filled to get started to make more of a difference within your Agile Release Train.

Prior knowledge of agile principles and practices in general and SAFe basic knowledge is an advantage.
Target audience
This training is aimed at everyone who works within one of the teams in an Agile Release Train, including in particular software developers, analysts, testers and subject matter experts.
Learning objectives and topics
- Team structure: the Agile team with their roles, additional tasks, responsibilities and challenges;
- Compiling backlogs, writing and prioritizing user stories;
- Executing the iteration/sprint, visualizing the progress, refining the backlog and continuously fine-tuning the working method within the Agile Release Train;
- Planning and executing a Program Increment (participating as a team in the PI Planning) and synchronization with other teams;
- Preventing waterfall principles within a sprint, using DevOps and XP practices such as Continuous Integration and test automation.
Result
After following this training you will be able to put the above-mentioned topics of the training into practice and you will be able to successfully pass the exam.
The exam
The SAFe Practitioner (SP) exam is a 1,5 hour multiple choice exam with 45 questions. With 35 questions or more correct, the candidate has passed.
