The hands-on approach and practical exercises ensured that I not only gained theoretical knowledge, but also developed the skills to apply Agile effectively.
What I really find an added value is that course material (for example document templates) is simply available via the website, so you really have something to use after you have attended the course. Remi-Armand has a pleasant voice and tells captivatingly and full of energy.

What is the difference between Agile and Scrum?
Agile is a broader philosophy and method, while Scrum is a specific framework within Agile.
Is Scrum only suitable for IT projects?
No, Scrum is used in all kinds of sectors, such as marketing, HR and operations.
Do I need experience to start with Agile & Scrum?
No, no experience is required for basic level training.
What is SAFe and how is it different from Scrum?
SAFe helps scale Agile working within large organizations, while Scrum is focused on teams.
How long does an Agile or Scrum certification path take?
Depending on the training, you can be certified within a few weeks.
Is a Scrum Master the same as a project manager?
No, a Scrum Master facilitates the team and optimizes processes, while a project manager manages the entire project structure.
Can I combine multiple Agile certifications?
Yes, many professionals obtain both Scrum and AgilePM or SAFe for a broad Agile knowledge.
How often do I need to renew my certification?
Some certifications like SAFe require recertification, Scrum.org certificates remain valid.
Is there a practical part in the training?
Yes, all trainings contain interactive assignments and practical exercises.
What if I fail my exam?
You can always retake the exam and you will receive guidance to increase your chances of passing.
How do I keep the Daily Stand-up short and yet valuable?
The Daily Stand-up can quickly become bogged down in long conversations or repetition of familiar matters. Therefore, provide a fixed structure, for example by having everyone briefly answer: “What did I do yesterday? What am I going to do today? Am I running into something?” Stick to the core and plan separate sessions for in-depth discussions. This keeps the stand up focused on progress and solving obstacles.
How do I ensure an active and involved Product Owner?
A Product Owner plays a crucial role in setting priorities and passing on feedback of the market. Therefore, make clear agreements in advance about the time investment that is required. Schedule fixed consultation moments, such as refinement sessions, and emphasize the importance of the Product Owner for successful sprints. Without their input, the team cannot adjust quickly enough based on new insights.
How do I define clear acceptance criteria or a clear 'Definition of Done'?
Acceptance criteria and a Definition of Done indicate when an item is really finished. For example, name all functional requirements, quality standards and test scenarios that need to be completed. You set these criteria together with the team and the Product Owner. Keep them concise but complete; this way everyone knows what is expected and you prevent ambiguity at the end of the sprint.
How do I maintain a long-term vision while adapting each sprint based on feedback?
Agile & Scrum help you learn and iterate per sprint, but that does not exclude a larger plan. Work with a high-level roadmap in which you outline goals and themes for the upcoming sprints or quarters. This gives you a direction for the long term, while you can flexibly adjust per sprint based on new information. Balance between these two levels is the key to effective and sustainable product management.
